What is Rapid Deployment Cable (RDC)?
We bundle the individual cables together using special lacing technology to assure the integrity of its CPR Fire testing whilst seamlessly providing the benefits of composite cable without the drawbacks – it’s a no brainer.
How is RDC different from traditional composite cable?
Unlike composite cable, our bundles use a specialist lacing method rather than a shared outer sheath. This allows for:

Can I customise the cable configuration?
Yes. Bundles can be configured to your exact system requirements — whether for CCTV, access control, intruder or integrated systems. You only bundle what you need. We can support you with this design.
Is your cable compliant with EU & International Standards
Yes. Our cables are manufactured to meet relevant CPR and fire performance standards, along with other applicable multi-regional compliance requirements across Europe, Middle-east and Africa.
Is RDC suitable for large-scale projects?
Absolutely, more so then composite cabling. With our solution you have the benefit of standardising the technology regionally without limiting to yourself to specific configurations and applications.
Does bundling affect cable performance?
No. Each cable within the bundle maintains its individual performance characteristics. The lacing system provides installation efficiency without compromising electrical, data or compliance integrity.
What are the lead times compared to composite cable?
Lead times have a variety of impactors but in layman terms, since our cables maintain their integrity via our lacing method, we require less material and can easily stock them with assurance that they are not hinged on one specific application. We also don’t need to seek new testing certifications with every new bundle.
